WFS members the First4Farming ebusiness initiative. First4Farming has been developed to meet the needs of the UK Agricultural Industry, by bringing together Farmers, Merchants and Manufacturers in one on-line marketplace. Supported by the industry 'heavyweights' F4F has become the Agricultural 'de facto' B2B ebusiness standard.

We are currently live with ABNA (Trident Feeds), bpi.AGRI, Merial AH, JohnsonDiversey and Rumenco. Testing is currently underway with McArthur Group and Battle, Hayward and Bower.

Although we currently use our Traditional EDI and XML email solutions we do not intend to develop these further.

•   'Traditional' EDI utilising Tradacoms invoice formats and market leading software from Sterling Commerce on the COMMERCE:Network value added network.  Tailored solutions available from internet, for the smaller user to UNIX, NT and mainframe for the larger user. The easy and flexible Traditional EDI solution

•   XML solutions using Commerce Centre software by Freeway Commerce. Fully integrated email solutions are now available at very competitive prices.
